In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Perrydale Pirates.

The Mountaineers (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Paul (St. Paul, OR). The Buckaroos come into the 1A Casco challenge with a 21-6 record. In their last challenge, St. Paul edged North Douglas (Drain, OR), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Willamette Valley Christian Warriors (Brooks, OR) in a 1A Casco challenge, on Saturday, October 26. Perrydale will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Perrydale (Amity, OR).
