In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Indian River Braves volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Great Bridge Wildcats.
The Braves (17-5) will now prepare for their challenge against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, First Colonial beat Salem (Virginia Beach, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 28. Great Bridge will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA).
