Texas High School Football - Tascosa falls to Abilene

The Abilene Eagles felled the host Tascosa Rebels football team by a score of 24-6 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, October 31. Abilene will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Plainsmen go into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 35-21 league loss to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX).

The Rebels (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Caprock (Amarillo, TX). The Longhorns go into the 5A-1 Region I District 2 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Caprock toppled Lubbock (Lubbock, TX), 38-7, in a league challenge.
