The Ajo Red Raiders football squad (Ajo, AZ), was trounced 44-8 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Gila Bend Gila Monsters (Gila Bend, AZ)
The Gila Monsters (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maricopa Institute of Technology (Phoenix, AZ). The Iron Eagles enter the Canyon II (8 Man) contest with a 1-5 record.
The Red Raiders now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tohono O'Odham for a Canyon I (8 Man) bout on Saturday, November 1. Ajo will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way (Buckeye, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
