The Ballard Bruins felled the host Eastern Eagles football team by a score of 21-3 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bruins play the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Ballard will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 55-13 league win over Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY).
The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Paul Laurence Dunbar was defeated by Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 21-10, in a league test.
