The Episcopal Academy Churchmen nipped the visiting Malvern Prep Friars soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Friday's league challenge.
The Churchmen now hold a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Springside Chestnut Hill Academy for a Inter-Academic challenge on Tuesday, October 28. Episcopal Academy will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-7.
The Friars (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Quakers enter the Inter-Academic contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, William Penn Charter held off Haverford School (Haverford, PA), 1-0, in a league contest.
