The Elgin Huskies volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Echo Cougars to 0 in the Huskies league win on Friday.
Next up, the Huskies confront the Powder Valley Badgers (North Powder, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon game, on Saturday, October 25. Elgin will attempt to advance on its 13-11 season record. The Badgers go into the game with a 24-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR).
The Cougars (13-12) will now prepare for their outing against Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR). The Monarchs come into the non-league outing with a 19-3 record. In their last outing, Umpqua Valley Christian defeated North Douglas (Drain, OR), 3-0, in a league outing.
