The Lamar Texans topped the host Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Texans now possess a 19-12 record. They play next when they host Fort Bend Kempner for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 28. Lamar will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Victoria East (Victoria, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 15-20.

With the loss, Houston Math Science & Tech drops to 1-16 on the campaign.
