Fans at Friday's league contest between the Lumen Christi Archangels (Anchorage, AK) and the host Ninilchik Wolverines (Ninilchik, AK), observed Lumen Christi's volleyball team top Ninilchik by a count of 3-0.

The Archangels (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK). The Wolverines enter the 2A Borealis contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Ninilchik was knocked off by Cook Inlet Academy (Soldotna, AK), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Susitna Valley Rams (Talkeetna, AK) in a 2A Borealis battle, on Saturday, October 25. Ninilchik will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Rams go into the battle with a 9-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Cook Inlet Academy (Soldotna, AK).
