The Manzano Monarchs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Rio Grande Ravens to 1 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Monarchs now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league game on Thursday, October 27. Manzano will meet a Demons team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Demons record now stands at 9-5.
The Ravens (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs enter the game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Albuquerque nipped Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
