Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge, on Thursday, October 27. Forest Hills will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Colts enter the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 5-3 league win over Monroe (Monroe, NC).
The Cougars now have a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anson for a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Thursday, October 27. Central Academy will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-15.
