The Airline Vikings were winner over the host Benton Tigers volleyball squad by a margin of 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA) in a Division I District 1 contest, on Thursday, October 27. Airline will attempt to better on its 13-18 season record. The Gators go into the contest with a 7-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Parkway (Bossier City, LA).

With the loss, Benton moves to 12-12 on the year. The Tigers travel to Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 26. The Hornets go into the contest with a record of 4-4. Catholic of Pointe Coupee won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA)
