The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) and the visiting William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA), saw Nelson County's volleyball squad beat William Campbell by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Nelson County upgrades its record to 4-13 on the year. The Governors travel to Altavista (Altavista, VA) to play the Colonels in a Dogwood bout on Thursday, October 27. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Altavista won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA)

The Generals now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they host Appomattox County for a Dogwood bout on Thursday, October 27. William Campbell will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 19-0.
