The Sandia Matadors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host West Mesa Mustangs to 0 in the Matadors non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Matadors now have a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmington for a non-league game on Saturday, October 28. Sandia will meet a Scorpions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 11-5.

The Mustangs (6-7) will now prepare for their game against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, La Cueva gained a win over Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
