Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Bobcats now possess a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Ledyard for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 26. Bacon Academy will confront a Colonels team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 13-1.
