The Cherokee Trail Cougars held off the visiting Valor Christian Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league match.

The Cougars now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rampart for a non-league match on Tuesday, October 31. Cherokee Trail will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO). The Rams record now stands at 12-0.

With the loss, Valor Christian drops to 7-6 on the season.
