The Marquette Mustangs held off the visiting Howell Central Spartans soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league match.
The Mustangs now sport a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Eureka for a Suburban - West match on Monday, October 30. Marquette will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Parkway North (St. Louis, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Howell Central drops to 5-14 on the season. The Spartans host Ritenour (Overland, MO) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league match on Monday, October 30. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 6-10.
