Athol Bears (Athol, MA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA), 35-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Athol improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Greenfield (Greenfield, MA) to play the Green Wave in a Intercounty - North battle on Friday, November 1. The Green Wave go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Greenfield lost 28-12 in their recent league battle against Palmer (Palmer, MA)

The Senators now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County Tech for a Intercounty - North battle on Friday, November 1. Mahar Regional will play a Eagles team coming off a 20-6 league loss to Ware (Ware, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
