The Depew Hornets walloped the visiting Cave Springs Hornets football team by a score of 54-20 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Drumright Tornadoes (Drumright, OK) in a B-I District 3 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, November 1. Depew will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Tornadoes enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 28-0 league loss to Yale (Yale, OK).
The Hornets (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Porum (Porum, OK). The Panthers enter the B-I District 3 (8 Man) challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Porum was ripped by Foyil (Foyil, OK), 2-0, in a league challenge.
