The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions to 0 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.
The Patriots now hold a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson Day for a Metro Eight 1A bout on Monday, October 28. Piedmont Community Charter will play a Mariners squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Queen's Grant moves to 6-9 on the year. The Stallions host Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC) to play the Raptors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 30. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 2-13.
