Texas High School Volleyball - Alto overwhelmed by Latexo

The Latexo Tigers topped the visiting Alto Yellowjackets volleyball team by a tally of 3-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Tigers (25-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Cushing (Cushing, TX). The Bearkats enter the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Cushing was beaten by Leverett's Chapel (Leverett's Chapel, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Grapeland Sandies (Grapeland, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, October 29. Alto will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Sandies enter the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Carlisle (Price, TX).
