The Dragons now possess a 16-11 record. They play next when they travel to Collinsville for a non-league bout on Monday, November 4. Chico will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sam Rayburn (Ivanhoe, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 21-18.

With the loss, Alvord drops to 11-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Poolville (Poolville, TX) to clash with the Monarchs in a 2A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, October 29. The Monarchs come into the bout with a record of 23-14. Poolville lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Lindsay (Lindsay, TX)
