Texas High School Volleyball - Sweeny over La Marque

The Sweeny Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host La Marque Cougars to 0 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 29-11 record. They play next when they host El Campo for a 4A Region IV District 29 outing on Tuesday, October 29. Sweeny will play a Ricebirds team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bay City (Bay City, TX). The Ricebirds record now stands at 22-12.

With the loss, La Marque drops to 3-22 on the campaign.
