In Friday's league challenge, the host Miller Grove Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Union Hill Bulldogs.
The Hornets (6-27) will now prepare for their challenge against Avery (Avery, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region III District 22 challenge with a 13-14 record. In their last challenge, Avery beat Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Sulphur Bluff Bears (Sulphur Bluff, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, October 29. Union Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 2-20 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 15-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Avery (Avery, TX).
