In Friday's league challenge, the host Whitesboro Bearcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Valley View Eagles.

The Bearcats (22-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region II District 10 challenge with a 7-20 record. In their last challenge, Callisburg was beaten by Ponder (Ponder, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, October 29. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 6-22 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 17-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Boyd (Boyd, TX).
