Maryland High School Football - Franklin can't hold off New Town

New Town Titans (Owings Mills, MD) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Franklin Indians (Reisterstown, MD), 21-16 in a league match.
The Titans (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Woodlawn (Baltimore, MD). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Woodlawn tipped Catonsville (Baltimore, MD), 8-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Indians confront the Randallstown Rams (Randallstown, MD) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 31. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Rams go into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 48-12 non-league loss to Milford Mill Academy (Baltimore, MD).
