Copley, OH — The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees are district champions. In a tightly contested match at Copley High School, the Bees earned a 1–0 shutout victory over the Wadsworth Grizzlies to claim the District Final title.
The Bees struck early when Otto Grieser buried a shot off a well-placed assist from Rocco Dean, giving Brecksville the lead that would hold for the remainder of the match. From there, the game turned into a battle of defenses, with both teams limiting opportunities and challenging every possession.
In goal, Bruno Berlin stood tall, making three key saves to secure the clean sheet and deliver the championship win for the Bees.
With the victory, the Bees advance to the OHSAA Regional Semifinals (Sectionals) on Wednesday, where they will continue their post season march.
