The Massac County Patriots edged the host Murphysboro Red Devils soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Coming up next, the Patriots encounter the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 28. Massac County will attempt to better on its 19-2 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 20-4 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, IL).
With the loss, Murphysboro moves to 13-7 on the year.
