The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) and the host Howell Highlanders (Howell, MI), witnessed Brighton's volleyball team overcome Howell by a tally of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (31-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Novi (Novi, MI). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 20-12 record. In their last challenge, Novi beat Lakeland (White Lake, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes (Wixom, MI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 28. Howell will attempt to advance on its 10-16 season record. The Athletes go into the test with a 20-12 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Kettering (Waterford, MI).
