Calvin Christian Squires (Grandville, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting NorthPointe Christian Mustangs (Grand Rapids, MI), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Squires (14-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Belding (Belding, MI). The Black Knights enter the Ottawa-Kent - Silver challenge with a 12-16 record. In their last challenge, Belding was beaten by Saranac (Saranac, MI), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Sparta Spartans (Sparta, MI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 28. NorthPointe Christian will attempt to improve on its 10-17 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 18-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI).
