The Cardinals (18-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Byron (Byron, MI). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 24-3 record. In their last challenge, Byron beat Webberville (Webberville, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Clawson Trojans (Clawson, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 25. Merritt Academy will attempt to improve on its 16-3 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 12-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI).
