In Saturday's non-league test, the host Marine City Mariners volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Harbor Beach Pirates.
With the win, Marine City improves its record to 17-9 on the season. The Mariners travel to St. Clair (St. Clair, MI) to face the Saints in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 28. The Saints go into the test with a record of 3-23. St. Clair won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI)
Next, the Pirates meet the Ubly Bearcats (Ubly, MI) in a Greater Thumb - East challenge, on Monday, October 27. Harbor Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 15-16 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 24-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI).
