Washington High School Volleyball - Lakeside over Skyline

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lakeside Lions (Seattle, WA) and the visiting Skyline Spartans (Sammamish, WA), observed Lakeside's volleyball team top Skyline by a count of 2-0.

The Lions (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Seattle, WA). The Lynx go into the 3A Metro battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Lincoln dropped by Roosevelt (Seattle, WA), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Spartans now own a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Issaquah for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 25. Skyline will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Creek (Bothell, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 15-3.
