The Whitehall Vikings tipped the host Manistee Mariners volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's league match.
Next up, the Vikings confront the Montague Wildcats (Montague, MI) in a Western Michigan match, on Saturday, October 25. Whitehall will attempt to advance on its 8-29 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 12-25 record after their 3-2 league win over Oakridge (Muskegon, MI).
The Mariners (13-12) will now prepare for their match against Oakridge (Muskegon, MI). The Eagles enter the Western Michigan match with a 8-18 record. In their last match, Oakridge held off Mason County Central (Scottville, MI), 3-2, in a league bout.
