Northville Mustangs (Northville, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Stevenson Spartans (Livonia, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northville improves its record to 19-15 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Brighton (Brighton, MI) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, October 25. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 28-8. Brighton won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Seaholm/Groves (Birmingham, MI)

The Spartans now own a 17-18 record. They play next when they host Flat Rock for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 28. Stevenson will meet a Rams team coming off a 1-0 league win over St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Rams record now stands at 20-6.
