The Valley Vikings held off the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del Norte for a non-league test on Friday, October 27. Valley will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights record now stands at 3-11.
The Chargers (5-12) will now prepare for their test against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies enter the non-league test with a 16-0 record. In their last test, Hope Christian held off Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 2-0, in a non-league test.
