New Mexico High School Volleyball - Belen routed by St. Pius X

The St. Pius X Sartans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Belen Eagles to 0 in the Sartans league victory on Thursday.

The Sartans now have a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grants for a 4A District 5 game on Monday, October 30. St. Pius X will meet a Pirates team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Pirates record now stands at 8-11.

The Eagles (8-11) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets enter the 4A District 5 game with a 1-15 record. In their last game, Highland dropped by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
