Louisiana High School Basketball - Riverdale Academy can't get by Silliman Institute

Silliman Institute Wildcats (Clinton, LA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Riverdale Academy Rebels (Coushatta, LA), 51-47 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Silliman Institute advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Adams County Christian (Natchez, MS) to meet the Rebels in a non-league match on Monday, October 28. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Rebels now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 5.
