In Saturday's league challenge, the host Boyne City Ramblers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Cheboygan Chiefs.
The Ramblers (32-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Clare (Clare, MI). The Pioneers enter the non-league challenge with a 13-15 record. In their last challenge, Clare got by Pinconning (Pinconning, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Chiefs meet the Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 26. Cheboygan will attempt to upgrade on its 13-15 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 8-16 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Manistique (Manistique, MI).
