In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats.

The Wolves (14-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 23-8 record. In their last challenge, Belle Chasse edged L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats play the East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 28. Frederick A. Douglass will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA).
