The Southside Sharks prevailed the host Iota Bulldogs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Sharks confront the Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) in a Division I District 3 game, on Tuesday, October 29. Southside will attempt to advance on its 19-6 season record. The Golden Tors enter the game with a 24-16 record after their 3-0 league win over Lafayette (Lafayette, LA).
The Bulldogs (24-6) will now prepare for their game against Northside Christian (Crowley, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 17-13 record. In their last game, Northside Christian gained a win over Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
