South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Plaquemines improves its record to 8-11 on the season. The Hurricanes host Lutheran (Metairie, LA) to encounter the Gryphons in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 30. The Gryphons go into the test with a record of 2-14.

The Rams now own a 4-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host De La Salle for a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. West St. John will encounter a Cavalier squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA). The Cavalier record now stands at 6-20.
