The Vela Sabercats football squad scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Palmview Lobos to 14 in the Sabercats league victory on Thursday.

The Sabercats now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowe for a 5A-1 Region IV District 15 battle on Thursday, November 3. Vela will face a Warriors squad coming off a 40-21 league loss to McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.

Coming up next, the Lobos face the Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 15 battle, on Friday, November 4. Palmview will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 0-9 record after their 55-0 league loss to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX).
