The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Scott Central Rebels (Forest, MS) and the visiting Velma Jackson Falcons (Camden, MS), observed Scott Central's football squad defeat Velma Jackson by a count of 42-21.

The Rebels now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Nanih Waiya for a non-league contest on Friday, November 4. Scott Central will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 28-6 league win over Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.
