In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Highland Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Grants Pirates.
The Hornets (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans come into the non-league battle with a 14-2 record.
Next, the Pirates confront the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a game, on Tuesday, November 1. Grants will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM).
