With the win, Carroll County upgrades its record to 18-3 on the year. The Cavaliers host Bassett (Bassett, VA) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 1. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 16-6. Bassett lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA)

The Buffaloes now hold a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Martinsville for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 1. Floyd County will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-15.
