The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) and the visiting Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM), saw Cimarron's volleyball squad beat Maxwell by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Cimarron upgrades its record to 10-9 on the year. The Rams travel to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM) to play the Blue or Lady Blue in a 1A District 5 bout on Monday, October 31. The Blue or Lady Blue go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Roy/Mosquero won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Wagon Mound (Wagon Mound, NM)

The Bears now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Springer for a 1A District 5 bout on Saturday, October 29. Maxwell will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Red Devils record now stands at 15-2.
