    The St. James Academy Thunder football team (Lenexa, KS), was tipped 21-17 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Bishop Miege Stags (Shawnee Mission, KS)

    The Stags (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS). The Saints come into the Eastern Kansas challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Saint Thomas Aquinas nipped Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS), 41-14, in a non-league challenge.

    The Thunder now sport a 2-7 record.
