Georgia High School Football - East Coweta drops to Westlake

October 27, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30331

In Friday's league game, the Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) football team knocked off the visiting East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA), by a final score of 28-7.

The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Spartans come into the AAAAAAA Region 2 game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Campbell was dropped by Carrollton (Carrollton, GA), 63-7, in a league game.

The Indians now hold a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pebblebrook for a AAAAAAA Region 2 game on Friday, November 3. East Coweta will battle a Falcons team coming off a 41-14 league loss to Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-7.
