Texas High School Football - Vela smashes Palmview

The Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) football routed the host Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX), 35-2 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Sabercats clash with the Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 15 bout, on Friday, November 3. Vela will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 4-5 record after their 9-6 league loss to McAllen (McAllen, TX).

The Lobos (2-7) will now prepare for their bout against Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX). The Huskies enter the 5A-1 Region IV District 15 bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Juarez-Lincoln was crushed by Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX), 57-0, in a league bout.
